How does the cancelation policy work, and how is it enforced?

On Forte, you set your own studio policies.

Forte defers to individual teachers' studio cancelation policy. Please be sure to share your individual studio policies at the beginning of your lessons with new students.

After each scheduled lesson, you can go to your Billing tab and use “Lessons to Process” to manage the attendance status of the lesson and adjust the fee as necessary. You have the option to mark the lesson as “student attended, no show, canceled (late), canceled, or teacher not available.”

After choosing the attendance status for the lesson, you can also adjust the fee to reflect the specifics of your studio’s attendance and cancellation policy. All of the detail you provide is automatically formatted into an email and sent to your student. The fee is also automatically deducted from the account on file with your student.
